Member of the Month - January
Congratulations to our January Member of the Month - Julie Richardson
Fitness is a big part of my life, it is something I really enjoy and through my love of fitness I have made some great friends along the way.
I joined SWEAT in August 2017, having moved from my previous gym to change my training, so I could train for my Tough Mudders. The Matrix area was perfect for this, especially the monkey bars. I previously had 9 months of strength training PTS to increase my upper body strength, my goal was to perfect a pull up and then to conquer the monkey bars, which I managed to do. I completed my 2nd Tough Mudder in August 2017 and then completed my 3rd one in September 2017, my next goal is to get to the black headband, which is the completion of 10 Tough Mudders.
I love training at SWEAT, the full range of equipment is spot on. The facilities are very clean, the staff are super helpful and friendly and it is nice to walk into a gym where you are met by friendly happy faces. I don’t tend to do the classes, due to doing my own training, but I particularly love Matts abs classes, which are hardcore, but really do strengthen your core, and enjoy the Sunday class HIIT and Run.
I am very proud to be nominated for Member of the Month for doing something which I genuinely love. Thank you!
